About the Sulphur Tuft
Hypholoma fasciculare, one of the most common mushrooms on the planet, fruiting in dense clumps on stumps. Yellow caps with greenish gills. Contains fasciculols that cause nausea, cramps and blurred vision. Often eaten by mistake; the bitter taste is a warning. Spore print purple brown.
