Japanese name means dancing mushroom - people danced with joy when finding them. Can grow to massive sizes. Rich in beta-glucans studied for immune support. Called hen of the woods in English. Excellent culinary mushroom with meaty texture and rich flavor. Traditionally used in Japanese and Chinese medicine. Increasingly available cultivated.
