About the Reishi
Called the mushroom of immortality in traditional Chinese medicine, used for 2,000+ years. Their woody, bitter texture makes them unsuitable for eating, but they are consumed as tea, tincture, or powder. Contain triterpenes and beta-glucans with documented immune-modulating effects. They grow as shelf-like brackets on trees. The red lacquered variety is most prized.
