About the Anise Toadstool

Clitocybe odora smells so strongly of anise that one dried cap can perfume a whole jar of mixed mushrooms. Blue green cap with white, slightly decurrent gills. Used mainly as a dried seasoning rather than bulk food. Some white Clitocybe relatives are toxic, so identification must be certain.
