About the Shaggy Parasol
Chlorophyllum rhacodes, a thick fleshed parasol with a shaggy brown cap. Flesh stains orange red where cut. Delicious for most people but a minority suffer stomach cramps, so first tastings should be tiny. Must be well cooked. The white spore print separates it from its deadly green spored relative.
