About the Destroying Angel
All-white and deceptively beautiful - among the deadliest organisms on Earth. Contains the same amatoxins as death cap. A single mushroom can kill an adult. They are often mistaken for edible species because people assume poisonous mushrooms are brightly colored. Symptoms appear 6-24 hours after ingestion. Responsible for many fatalities in North America and Europe.
