About the Tawny Grisette
Amanita fulva, one of the milder members of a deadly genus. Orange brown cap, tall white stem, no ring, all rising from a white sac. Must be cooked well. Still demands real skill because other sac bearing Amanitas kill. Many clubs teach beginners to avoid all Amanitas entirely.
